Marina Port de Mallorca has changed its lighting to a more ecological and efficient lighting system for its Marina. Energy saving light bulbs have been installed in 17 lanterns that illuminate the port to increase the efficiency of lighting devices and reduce unnecessary consumption that leads to spend less energy and helps protect the environment.
Light bulbs used by Marina Port de Mallorca are of low consumption with a power of 65W which reduces more than half the consumption with respect to traditional lighting, illuminates with the same light quality, consumes less power and emits less carbon dioxide (CO2) to the environment.
This new lighting gives a more welcoming image change to the Marina with the so-called white bluish light that is more gentle to the eyes and creates a more pleasant environment for customers and employees in the port.
This activity is part of the ecological and environmental policy of the Marina and of the numerous ecological actions made by the port during the year. In Marina Port de Mallorca, we maintain our ongoing work in environmental conservation, waste management and in the care of the environment.
