IPM IMG Marine Group sets the pace at Palma Superyacht Village 2025

Palma Superyacht Village was this year, once again, the focal point of the international yachting industry. In this strategic scenario, the IPM IMG Marine Group demonstrated its leadership as one of the key players in the Mediterranean, anchoring its position with an active and approachable presence deeply connected with the yachting community.

The group exhibited at the show on a new avant-garde design stand showcasing all its facilities: STP Shipyard Palma, Marina Ibiza, Marina Port Ibiza, Marina Port Mallorca, Marina Port Mahón, Marina Port Valencia, Varadero Valencia and Varadero Ibiza. This highlighted the magnitude and diversity of the group, underlining its ability to offer refit and repair services at its yards, welcome yachts to its state-of-the-art marinas, and commit to quality and innovation.

The event also provided the opportunity for reflection and knowledge exchange. IPM IMG actively participated in the Balearic Superyacht Forum, where key issues on the present and future of the industry were discussed, such as sustainability and the evolution of infrastructures and technical services. The group was represented by Isabel Martínez, Sales Director of the IPM Group, and Carlos Albons, Production Manager of STP Shipyard Palma. Isabel spoke on 29 April at the session "Investing In and Upgrading Marinas", while Carlos took part in the talk "Investing in Refit Infrastructure and Business Models" on 30 April.

During Palma Superyacht Village, the group seized the opportunity to present its brand new project, Marina Port Valencia, an ambitious development that will transform the Valencia region and the international yachting industry. This major project was complemented by the announcement of Marina Port Valencia as co-organiser of Valencia Boat Show 2025, which was received with great enthusiasm from owners, captains and partners.

The Marina Port Valencia stand showcased the sheer scope of this project, which will feature berths, refit yards, office spaces, restaurants, lifestyle areas and a modern infrastructure that will make the marina an international benchmark in the industry.

Meanwhile, projects supported by the group included STP's sponsorship of S/Y Verdhugo, captained by Hugo Ramón, who recently broke the single-handed Round Mallorca record and is currently preparing to race in the arduous Mini Transat regatta.

STP Shipyard Palma also sponsored events organised by Estela Shipping during the show, such as networking breakfasts and the traditional captains' dinner, and the Nautiparty, an event created by Nautipaints for leading figures from the yachting industry.

To cap it all off, the traditional Ibiza JoySail Pirate Party, organised by STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza, was once again one of the highlights, attracting friends, crews and industry professionals to unwind in a laid-back atmosphere. In its 2025 edition, the pirate spirit infected the entire Palma Superyacht Village, serving as the perfect ending for a show full of energy, contacts and great prospects for the season about to begin.
