Success on the open day held for families and children in our facilities.

To end the year and before the arrival of the 3 Kings,   we held an open day for all the families, children and people interested in learning about the marine and sailing world in an entertaining and didactic way.

This open day program began in the early hours of the morning and consisted of involving the children in numerous activities, especially for the smallest ones, which included a sailor knots workshop, a stroll through the Bay of Palma in a traditional llaut and the possibility to visit several boats moored in the marina.

In this open day, participants received a brief talk explaining the parts of a traditional llaut and learned different forms of navigation, stressing the need to maintain the sea clean as well as the dangers in the lack of control in natural resources. At the end of the day, which ended in success, attendees enjoyed a snack outdoors organized by the marina personnel.

This activity is part of the numerous activities that the port performs throughout the year and thus made our Marina to be awarded once more with a blue flag for its work in the environmental conservation, waste management and caring of the surroundings.
