IPM Group and its Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Palma Cuarentena and STP facilities continue their active participation in the solidarity campaign "Mobilize with Pau". This initiative is based on the solidarity collection of mobile phones for the Spanish Association of mitocondrial disease (AEPMI). IPM Group is collecting used mobile phones since last November in order to contribute to the shipment of phones sent each month to the AEPMI Association.
There is currently no cure or treatment for people suffering from mitochondrial pathologies. For this reason, IPM Group and its facilities are involved in these initiatives in order to continue bordering the two investigations that have been signed in recent years from AEPMI and eligible for possible clinical trials of medications already proven in the United States.
IPM Group has installed general boxes at the receptions of Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Palma Cuarentena and the STP shipyard where you can make a delivery of used mobile phones. The money raised with the donation of mobile will be fully intended to pay for current or future investigations in search of new drugs that may give them a better quality of life to all those affected by these so delicate and degenerative diseases.
IPM Group is actively involved in various social and environmental awareness programmes and this initiative is one of the social activities planned throughout the year.
